If no Cinema-hall, then making of Assamese Cinema should be stopped !!

If Assamese Cinema does not get cinema-halls to get exhibit, not even a single show in a day, what is the point of making of Assamese Cinema.
Hence, it should be stopped, though it will be the most unfortunate thing for all of us. But If the distributors, exhibitors have not any interest on Assamese Cinema and they always prefer Bollywood Films, what other way left for regional filmmakers.
Without judging the quality and audience response, exhibitors easily put down Assamese Cinema from their theater showing the excuse of Hindi film, whether it is good or bad.
In this case, Assam Govt. has lots to do, but unfortunately nothing has been done till date. From last few years, Govt has been producing couple of films, it is really good initiative undoubtedly. But where these films would be screened if no exhibitors come forward to take regional films for their theater.
Do the producers have any other way? If not, & if govt have nothing to do with that, The making of Assamese Cinema Should be Stopped!! (Column LONG SHOT : Publishing date-23.02.2014)
